Ashnisha Industries Limited is engaged in the manufacturing and trading of steel products and is steadily diversifying its business into the renewable energy sector through the development of a solar power project in Gujarat. This strategic initiative marks an important milestone in the Company’s long-term vision of building a sustainable and environmentally responsible business while creating diversified revenue streams. The project reflects the Company’s commitment to sustainable growth, clean energy and long-term value creation.
As part of its expansion strategy, the Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Commissioner of Municipalities Administration, Government of Gujarat, during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, reaffirming its commitment to the State’s renewable energy initiatives. The Company has also entered into the necessary agreements with Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited (UGVCL) for the sale of electricity generated from the solar power project.
The solar power project is being established at Survey No. 71, Village: UN, Taluka: Kankrej, District: Banaskantha, Gujarat, on approximately 410.71 Hectare Area of land. The project site has been selected owing to its suitable location and favourable conditions for the development of a solar power project, ensuring efficient implementation and long-term operations.
Looking ahead, the Company aims to strengthen its presence in the renewable energy sector by expanding its business across the entire green energy value chain. Building upon this project, Ashnisha Industries Limited envisions establishing an integrated presence in the development, generation, transmission, distribution and trading of renewable energy, thereby evolving into a comprehensive end-to-end renewable energy company committed to driving sustainable growth and contributing to a cleaner future.
